The Nchelenge Inter-Denominational Youth Learning and Sharing Initiative Group (NIDYLSIG) is a faith-based voluntary and non-profit youth-led inter-denominational development organization working directly with development partners in Nchelenge, Zambia. Established in 2000 and registered under the societies Act, the organization seeks to promote a healthy and fully empowered youth and young people contributing to sustainable development. It is staffed by a group of young proactive youths who are convinced that development does not lie in the hands of the elderly alone, but also in those of the youths. The overarching goal of NIDYLSIG is to promote empowerment and capacity building, and contribute to sustainable development and good health among youths and young people in Nchelenge District, through education support, comprehensive skills training and HIV and AIDS interventions.
