A Word from Our Chairman

   As the chairperson of Nidylsig I am delighted and honoured to be writing this welcome for an organization that has been successful in representing and campaigning for the Nchelenge Community for over one decade. We have been catering for the needs of youths, children and orphans from our dedicated projects.

   We have been going from strength to strength and one of the few charity organizations which have young people making up the committee. NIDYLSIG has just graduated from the two–year capacity building programme with Local Partners Capacity Building, during which policies have been reviewed and transformation in order to become more effective in its delivery of services and become more streamlined in meeting local and national standards. Our staff, volunteers, young people and management committee have regular dialogue and exposure to ensure that we maximize all levels of communication.

   The future is bright for NIDYLSIG; we already are one of the longest standing Youth charities, we have a young, dynamic and experienced and MC team, we are working with new partners, increasing funds and updating our style of work and solidifying our long term vision. Although there is much more work to be done, we are optimistic that with the love, support and encouragement from the community we will succeed in putting NIDYLSIG on the map as a pioneering organization which places “people and opportunities” at its heart.
